Quenton Rubin Band at The Sixty6
About this Event
Funk. Rock. Soul. Blues. And a Cleveland guitarist who has lived all of it.
Quenton “Que” Rubin brings the Quenton Rubin Band to The Sixty6 for a night of deep grooves, searing guitar and soulful funk.
A Cleveland native, Rubin’s career has taken him from leaving Berklee College of Music at 19 and arriving in New York with seven dollars in his pocket to performing and recording alongside artists including Al B. Sure!, George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, LeVert, Meli’sa Morgan, Keith Sweat and Brenda K. Starr. His playing moves between funk, rock, soul and the blues, with echoes of Prince, Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana.
Now he’s bringing it home with the Quenton Rubin Band, formed in 2025 and nominated for Best Blues Artist at the 2025 Cleveland Music Awards.
