Let's sing Christmas carols, just like in old movies but with more boogie I suspect ??? All bodies, all ages, all genders. Yes, your brother's ex-roommate's new girlfriend's dentist is welcome to join us too! The more, the merrier, literally ☺️?

LOCATION/ROUTE:
1. MEET at 5:15pm and SING at 5:30pm in the "lobby" of Coliseum BART, near the turnstiles, *outside* the paid area. Ride to
2. Lake Merritt BART. Get off the train and SING *inside* the paid area. Ride to
3. 19th St/Oakland BART. Get off the train and SING *inside* the paid area. Ride to
4. Downtown Berkeley BART, LAST STOP. SING *outside* the paid area, potentially outdoors, we'll decide in the moment.
OPTIONAL POST SING GRUB: if folks want to get food/drinks together, there's lots of options on this block of Downtown Berkeley
DRESS: warmly! Jackets and mittens and scarves, oh my!??? Festive attire encouraged but of course never required. Red, green, gold, holigay rainbow, memorable sweaters, elf hats, kitchy jewelry, this is your chance! Or wear all black like you do every day, you holiday goth, you! Do Not let Outfit worries keep you away, for goodness sake. Seriously, just come! ?
SONGS: I'll post a Spotify list of possible songs in the comments for anyone who wants to brush up on the lyrics in advance
BRING: your clipper card! Or come early and buy one *before* 5:30pm! This is a community event, we do need folks to participate to make it smooth and fun for all. Use the comment thread to say what you can bring:
- (1) big sound Bluetooth speaker to play background music for some of the songs
- (unlimited) snacks and treats to share. Homemade is lovely but anything you would eat is great. Be prepared to answer questions about ingredients/allergens
- (1-4) handheld bell instruments for that nice jingle bell effect!
- (1) if someone could print out lyrics of the songs to share, that would be nice
- (unlimited) if you're a musician who wants to play your guitar/flute/whatever ? along with our singing, please do!
- (unlimited) extra cash or extra BART/clipper cards to give to anyone in our group who can't afford one. NOTAFLOF! Community Care. We support our own.
- (unlimited) new socks, granola bars, bottled water, cash, BART cards, etc to give to unhoused folks we see along the way
COVID: honor system, please take a rapid test On Thursday, same day as the event and stay away if you're positive of course!
