Guest speaker: Zaara Asnani, @zaara.asnani, a student and community organizer focusing on environmental and social justice in Los Angeles. Z looks at the climate crisis from an artist's perspective, working with other youth to create campaigns that center creativity. They currently work with Youth Climate Strike Los Angeles, in addition to independent work in community education.

Live Music: Badsoma, @badsomamusic, an indie rock band based in Los Angeles, CA. Made up of diverse and predominantly queer instrumentalists, the band consists of multiple members who volunteer as climate activists across LA county. As activists, the band incorporate eco-lyricism and environmental themes into their songwriting. Badsoma embodies the intersection of queer identity and climate activism. As an intersectional band, they bring the breadth of their experience into every stage of their artistry and craft on stage and in the studio
