Explore movement, creation, and queer performance in Queering the 5 Rhythms and Giant Masks, a unique Pride workshop led by Dana Wasylyshen (they/them).This 3-hour workshop combines Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms movement practice with giant mask-making and queer performance exploration. Using movement as a somatic practice for self-discovery and expression, participants will create giant cardboard masks and explore how object performance can challenge binaries, spark imagination, and bring bold ideas to life.
Open to all levels. Please wear comfortable clothing, be prepared to remove your shoes, and note that boxcutters will be used during the workshop.
