Queer Wetland Walk

Join us for our Queer Wetland Walk!

Step into the wetlands and immerse yourself in the semi-mystical roots of wetland, guided by acclaimed poet Mab Jones (author of Bog Witch) and the Garddio team. Together, we’ll explore the wetland as both myth and medicine - a place of queerness, fluidity, and transformation.

Once the original landscape of Cardiff Bay, these wetlands hold histories of community and survival. Through poetry, myth, and gentle reflection, we’ll trace healing pathways that connect body, land, and spirit.

This session will also hold space for environmental considerations: learning how wetlands act as carbon sinks, protect biodiversity, and remind us of our role as custodians of fragile ecosystems. By walking together, we honour the wetlands not just as myth and memory, but as living sanctuaries of renewal.
