*Hen in the Fox House* is an international dream pop artist based in the Hudson Valley of New York. Their music sounds like “If Elvis and Suzanne Vega had a baby mermaid." Songwriter Elena Krell takes inspiration from social justice, human and non-human animal life, plant life, cosmology, and the absurd. Her voice is unique and beautiful, soulful and jazzy, with multiple timbres. Her lyrics are authentic but not over-thought, poignant and hilarious by turn. As a queer nonbinary person from Honduras, Mexico, and Germany, her transnational background offers a refreshing sound and perspective. Themes of embodiment, feminism, fantasy, and nature permeate her upcoming record *Look Up.* The songs are drawn from Elena’s vivid imagination, feminist of color ethos, and a love of nature: a dragon that flies you from dream to dream, talking trees, and an Ani DiFranco-esque tirade against childhood sexual abuse. The album is a unique offering to the overlapping worlds of dream pop, neoclassical music, folk, and anti-folk.

*Eli Conley* is an indie folk/country songwriter who makes music for queer and trans folks, justice seekers, and anyone who doesn’t fit in a box. His voice is tender and heartfelt, with melodies that can leave you teary-eyed yet hopeful. As a queer transgender man from the South, Eli's songs tell stories that aren’t always reflected in roots music. Eli founded Queer Country West Coast, a regular series featuring LGBTQ+ blues, folk, and country artists in California. He has opened for Carsie Blanton, Heather Mae, The Mary Wallopers, and Grammy-winner Kimya Dawson, and been featured in Newsweek, the Huffington Post, the Advocate, and NPR's All Things Considered. He is on tour from California with frequent collaborator Joel Price on mandolin, violin, and backing vocals to support his new album, Searching for What’s True.
