Welcome to Q Refugee Connections!
On 28 August 2026, we have multi-award-winning author Anna Dempsey joining us for a FREE creative writing session exploring storytelling. Everyone has a story to tell, so we want to hear voices from our community! No prior experience needed. You can join, connect, and chat. This is a social space, a safer space for people. No expectations.
Join us in person for a special creative writing session with Anna. She is a London-based writer and creative writing teacher, winner of the 2019 Costa Short Story Award and the inaugural Hilary Mantel Prize for Fiction in 2026. She also runs The Grove, a creative writing community in South East London.

Acessibility:
The closest station is North Greenwich (Jubilee line) which is fully accessible offering step-free access from platform to street level. The venue is on the first floor, but there is a lift and step-free from street level to the room. Accessible and gender-neutral toilets are available on-site.
