December's Queer Open Stage will be a Queereoke event (queer karaoke) and social on December 17th!Bring your favourite sing-along (or non-sing-along) and a friend, and we'll bring the snacks, tea, art supplies, fidgets, fairy lights, and karaoke supplies :)
We wanted to provide everyone some time to be social in a lower pressure setting than a quiet audience, so that we can all get to know each other and relax during a stressful, sometime lonely time of year. The usual Queer Open Stage will resume in January.
⌚Show up at 6:30 pm to sign up, or e-mail for early sign-up.
Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided! Yum 🙂
(please review accessibility info for theDock below, regardless of your needs)
This event is presented by the Victoria Downtown Residents Association (https://www.victoriadra.ca/), and is hosted by Sara Rose Hébert (they/them).
💛 NOTE: Allies are welcome as audience members but performance spots are reserved for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks.
We also need VOLUNTEERS! Just a bit of set up, door, and tear down. The more hands we have, the lighter the workload for all of us! You can find more details by following the sign-up link below.
