Queer Movie Night: Emilia Pérez

Join us for a fabulous Queer Movie Night at BAAD!–The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance. We'll be screening the 2024 film Emilia Pérez (R).

Emilia Pérez follows four remarkable women in Mexico, each pursuing their own happiness. Cartel leader Emilia enlists Rita, an unappreciated lawyer, to help fake her death so that she can finally live authentically as her true self.

As part of BAAD!'s annual Get Tough! Get BAAD! Series, Queer Movie Nights are all about celebrating the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community through the magic of queer cinema.
