Queer Movie Night & Fall Potluck (Hybrid)

Join us for the October iteration of our monthly Queer Movie Night Series, which I am excited to announce will also include the first of our quarterly Potlucks!

As we ran into some technical difficulties last month, we will be revisiting Good Deed Entertainment & Cranked Up Film's Riot Girls , a post-apocalyptic science fiction movie in which "A mysterious disease has wiped out all of the adults. In this new age, two gangs are pitted against each other in a brutal war for territory, resources and survival. " Fantasia's Selection for 2019, this queer punk teen wonderland is gonna be a blast so we hope to see you there!

We realize that with school is running full swing and the weather starting to turn weekday evening events can be a bit of a challenge. As such, we have decided to try out a hybrid format this time around, with the option to attend in person or virtually. Our hope is that by offering a virtual option we can still offer folks the opportunity to connect and share together in a community-building experience!

As for the Potluck - whether you are joining us at the Center (we got a new screen!) or you are Zooming in from home, we welcome you to pull out the old recipe book (or check out a fun website like AllRecipes) and whip up one of your favorite dishes that celebrates the flavors of autumn! The link below will lead you to our Potluck Sign-Up Sheet, in which we will ask for both the recipe and a photo of the dish, as we aim to collect all the recipes into a booklet to give out at our Halloween Hangout on Sunday, Oct. 27th, 6-8PM.
