The Queer Mixer is not that room. It is built for the ones who want more than small talk. You do not have to be out to everyone. You do not have to be sure of your labels. You just have to show up and let the rest happen slowly.This time, we are adding something different. A long sheet of paper will run across the room. No instructions. No rules. Just paint, markers, and space to leave your mark. By the end of the night, that paper will hold everything that could not fit into words. Laughter. Confession. Anger. Tenderness. At the end, the paper comes apart. You take your piece home. The rest stays in the room.
