About this Event
Stress is something we can't escape from in today's society. And while some of modern life's challenges can be removed we can learn how to manage stress better.
In this 90 minute workshop you will learn more about stress; what it is, the impact it has on mind and body and most importantly how to regulate it better.
Queer Mind & Movement Coach, Emily Brinnand, will introduce you to practical tools and techniques you can use to manage your stress, find calm and feel more equipped to manage day to day challenges. You'll learn how to reset your nervous system through Mind and Movement practices.
This workshop will include Mindfulness meditations, some simple and gentle stretches and poses, similar to slow yoga, journaling and a chance to ask questions during and afterward.
