A full contact self defense program. Participants are responsible for personal protective gear. i.e. mouth guard, athletic cup, etc. Participants are also required to sign a waiver, provided at class. Spots are limited. Sign up with the ticket link.
Led by Kate Ashworth. She holds the rank of 1st degree master in the art of Kung Fu San Soo, and has been teaching since 2013. Her sifu (a Cantonese word meaning both "master" and "teacher" in a martial arts context) is Dr. Richard Dinsmore, and his sifu was Jimmy H. Woo, the man who brought the art from the Guangdong province of China. Lynn, her wife, is a 2nd degree black belt in the art and instructs as well.

This practice is called "working out" and allows us to learn how to take blows as well as deliver them.
