QUEER JELLO WRESTLING FUNDRAISER

Join Hit Happens and a team of amazing volunteers for Queer Jello Wrestling, and help us raise money for our teammate and dear friend Olive who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. All of the proceeds from this event will go to Olive and their GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/2e87690e3), which will help support them through treatment as well as cover the cost of some very expensive medications that are not covered by BC MSP.

PRIZES for wrestlers - AND prizes for attendees through our 50/50 draw! Wrestling-themed costumes are encouraged!

Where: Container Brewing, 1216 Franklin St, Vancouver, BC V6A 1K1

When: Friday, August 28th, 4-10pm (wrestling from 7-9pm)

Event Code of Conduct

The organizers of this event are dedicated to ensuring a safe and accessible event for all participants regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age and/or religion. Harassment, bullying, violence, or hate of any kind will not be tolerated. The organizers reserve the right to remove attendees from the event for any code of conduct violations.

Prohibited behaviours include (but are not limited to):

• Personal attacks/insults directed at other attendees, event organizers, Container Brewing staff, wrestling participants, etc.
• Harassment of any kind
• Intolerance of others due to (but not limited to): sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, race, ethnicity, etc.
• Hate speech of any kind
• Actions that could threaten the safety of attendees, such as: Threatening or violent behaviour, damage to Container Brewing property, bringing weapons

Photography Policy

Please respect all of the participants and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the wrestling portion of the event. There will be photographers available to capture matches, at the consent of the wrestlers.
