Event Description

The Pride Student Union at Florida International University is hosting its annual Drag Show for 2026, marking our 5th anniversary celebration. This year’s theme, Queer History Rewind, invites attendees to explore the evolution of drag and queer history, with a special spotlight on South Florida LGBTQ+ history and the legacy of the Pride Student Union at FIU.

Join us for a night of artistry, performance, and community featuring local Miami performers, including the beloved Athena Dion and members of the Dion Dynasty. This event is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies.

• FIU Students get in FREE - Reserve your ticket here on Eventbrite.
• All FIU Faculty and staff must reserve tickets for $10 general admission.
• All non-FIU attendees must reserve tickets for $15 general admission.

All drag performers will be announced via Instagram @fiupsu!

This is an 18+ only event.

Parking Information

Parking is available in campus parking garages and lots. Non-students and non-staff should avoid student or staff-only designated parking areas to prevent citations. Performers will have designated parking arrangements pending approval through the Events Office.

FAQs & Refund Policy

*There will be no refunds for tickets purchased for this event.

1. Will there be a waitlist for tickets? Once all tickets are sold out, there will be a waitlist for any persons who decide to cancel that will be honored in the order that is signed up.

2. What should I wear to the drag show? Please wear anything that supports the theme and is appropriate on a university event space.

3. Will tipping be allowed for performers? If you are feeling generous, information will be provided during the event for how attendees can support performances.

4. Will there be food provided? Yes.

5. How will my ticket be validated when I check in? Tickets will be confirmed through registration, Eventbrite ticket, and by photo ID.
