QUEER FEAR X CITRUS KINO presents: VAMP (1986) + DJ set

Two fraternity pledges try to bring home a stripper to impress their college friends but instead are faced with bloodthirsty vampires, led by Kinky Katrina, played by Grace Jones!

As part of Citrus Kino's mini programme on hedonism and the pursuit of pleasure, VAMP is a whirlwind of 80s fratboy excess meets the joy of the urban underground scene, where anything goes and everyone is up for grabs.

Almost certainly an influence on FROM DUSK TIL DAWN, VAMP is superbly designed by many of Grace Jones' own collaborators, including queer art maestro Keith Haring, and features effects by four-time Oscar winner Greg Cannom (THE LOST BOYS, BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA). Delivering laughs and scares in equal measure, with the added bonus of vampy, campy sex appeal, VAMP is a comedy horror romp with real bite.

But that's not all! We'll finish the night in true club cabaret style with a special VAMP-themed set from DJ Rebecca L'amour, who will be bringing the vampy-vibes right through to closing time.
