We'll be at Rumpus Room in Glasgow, a cosy queer community art studio with an accessible bathroom and a small kitchen for tea and coffee. Queer Families gets together every month for peer support, stories, conversations, snacks and creative activities.
Here are some ideas for 2023 activities. Do you have ideas for events that could support LGBTQI+ families' wellbeing and connection? Let us know!
?Story sessions, bringing all our favourite inclusive story books.
?Music, noise and singing.
?Spending time in a community garden or park, and making daisy chains and crowns.
?Finding ways to share LGBTQI+ community knowledge about support and care, and gaps and barriers accessing it.
?Child-friendly film screenings.
