Calling all Bay Area queers 18 and up! QUEER CON LECHE, it's 2026 and we are back! QUEER CON LECHE is a new queer Afro-Latin social dancing party presented by Supernova and Open Test Kitchen in Oakland. Did we mention it's a DAY PARTY!?!

Tap into queer joy on Sunday January18th from 12pm to 4pm at Open Test Kitchen and dance until you drop.

As we step into a new year, we want to remind the world that we are still here and our existence continues to resist those who seek to silence us!

Calling all January babies! Come celebrate your birthday with us! Get on our guest list and special perks for you and your friends. We will hold a birthday dance and bring cupcakes to sing you happy birthday!

12pm-1pm: Beginner friendly Salsa class with Pamé

1pm- 4pm: Social dancing with DJ SanaSana in the mix to your favorite bachata, salsa, cumbia, and merengue songs.

2pm: Birthday song/dance.

No one turned away for a lack of funds

The purpose of sliding scale pricing is to create finacial access to those who may otherwise not be able to afford the event. If you are able to pay more, this helps us sustain our event and create finacial access for others.

All ticket sales are final. This event is 18 and up. Online tickets close 1/17/26 at 12pm.

This event is mask required (KN95 or better) indoors. We will have masks available for folks who don’t have one, or need a better one. There will also be a purifier in the space. All drinks and food must be consumed outside in our parklet, masks must be kept on at all times indoors. As a friendly reminder, if you are feeling ill, test positive for covid, or have come in contact with a person who has tested positive for covid, please stay home. Let’s keep each other safe, I promise this will not be the last event. We will also be implementing covid tracing, so if you pay at the door we will be requiring folks to leave their email.
