Discusses Lavender House by Lev AC Rosen

Led by former Greenlight bookseller Alex, our Queer Book Group meets monthly to discuss contemporary fiction and nonfiction titles that relate to queer experience, identity, and community.

For December, the group discusses Lev AC Rosen's Lavender House, a Macavity Award-winning novel and "Best Of" Book from Buzzfeed, Rainbow Reading, Library Journal, CrimeReads, BookPage, Book Riot, and more! Knives Out with a queer historical twist, Lavender House is a delicious story that "movingly explores the strain of trying to pass as straight at a time when living an authentic life could be deadly," (New York Times Book Review).
