Queer Belonging Workshop
About this Event
Belonging is a fundamental human need. Yet, for many of us who are queer, feeling that we truly belong - and that we can be fully ourselves - isn't always straightforward.
This thoughtfully curated workshop brings together astrology and psychotherapy to explore what it means to be queer, both as individuals and as part of a wider community.
Join Eleanor Morice of Lucie Energetics and Philip Shaw of Room for Therapy for a reflective and supportive session that engages themes of belonging, shame and self-acceptance. Drawing on your personal birth chart, guided self-reflections and shared group engagement, we'll support you in exploring how your experiences shape the way you relate to your queerness, to others and to your world.
Whether you're exploring what your queerness means to you, navigating questions of acceptance and belonging, or simply curious to understand yourself more deeply, this workshop offers an opportunity to meet yourself with greater compassion, curiosity and care.
Together, we'll create space to explore our experiences, connect with ourselves and others, and develop a deeper, more loving relationship with our queerness - supporting our emotional and spiritual wellbeing along the way.
NOTE: Prior to the workshop, one of our facilitators will have a short call with each participant to ensure that this session feels right for them at this time in their life. Some of the themes it raises could feel confronting for some people, and we want to support those taking part in having as empowering and growthful an experience as possible.
