Queer Bar Takeover: CPKC Stadium is your chance to experience one of Kansas City's most iconic venues in a way few people ever will.
For one night only, we're taking over the Club Level at CPKC Stadium. Dance with friends, grab a cocktail overlooking the pitch, enjoy drag performances throughout the evening, and join hundreds of LGBTQ+ people and allies for an unforgettable night of music, connection, and community.
Home of the Kansas City Current and the world's first stadium purpose-built for a professional women's sports team, CPKC Stadium has quickly become one of Kansas City's most celebrated landmarks. On July 25th, it becomes the home of Queer Bar Takeover.
This isn't game day. There are no assigned seats, no final score, and no sidelines. Just a stadium filled with queer joy, great music, drag entertainment, and the electric energy that happens when our community comes together in an extraordinary space.

Transportation & Parking
Getting to CPKC Stadium has never been easier.
The KC Streetcar now runs directly to the Berkley Riverfront, making it easy to leave the car at home and ride straight to the party.
For those driving, parking is available throughout the Berkley Riverfront area and surrounding stadium lots.
Carpooling, rideshares, and the Streetcar are all encouraged (and often more fun).

Queer Bar Takeover is about reclaiming space. Each month we gather in a different venue across Kansas City, creating a welcoming environment where queer people and allies can celebrate community, connection, and joy.
