Join local teaching artist, Nate Kistler (they/he) for a workshop on finding your voice. This workshop is designed for queer, non-binary, trans, and interested allies, to explore their singing range and speaking vocal registers. If you are curious about your voice, Nate will provide information about, and resources on the voice and vocal development during transition, and methods to explore, strengthen, and improve your voice. All voices and all questions are welcomed and time will be set aside at the end of the workshop for individual vocalizations, questions, and advice.

Nathan Kistler (they/he), is a nonbinary vocalist with degrees from Central Michigan University and the University of Notre Dame. They studied voice as a baritone and countertenor. Though trained classically, Nathan sings in a wide range of styles and currently sings with the burgeoning folk/alt punk group THEM queers. Nate has always been a nerd about the voice and at the end of this workshop, so will you!
