Queer & Well is thrilled to celebrate Bisexual Visibility Week with our incredible partners at QWOCMAP.
On September 23rd we will be holding our in-person film screening at the SF LGBT Center showcasing a selection of 8 very special short films centering the Bi+ experience. The evening will also feature community conversation and connection about the films. Doors open at 5:30 and films begin at 6:00pm
In addition, from September 24th through September 30th you will be able to enjoy this exceptional collection of short films from the comfort of your own home. Stay tuned for how you can sign up for the online option.
Bi/Black/Body/Bliss by Jushin Misia Denéa Bi/Black/Body/Bliss is a blazing emblem for plus-sized, queer, African/Indigenous ancestry often rejected by the world.
Jushin is a body positive business entrepreneur, wellness enthusiast, and performance artist.

Sexuality 101: Identity by Halle Johnson & Victoria Estrada It's back to basics in Sexuality 101: Identity as two young women insolently define their own labels.
Halle is an artist of many hats with a hunger to inspire and be inspired. Victoria is a Long Beach Native and a professional Photographer.

Fantasy Freakout by Natalie Arias & Kaira Espinoza In a flash, a bisexual Chicana navigates Fantasy Freakouts with friends, family, and potential lovers.
Natalie is a Bay Area bred queer Xicana that laughs loud, dances fearlessly, and lives for her fierce family. Kaira is the author of "Poems about This Roller-Coaster Ride Called Life," who appreciates various art mediums that inspire & empower her.

Cooking Curiosities by Lourdes Rivas A young Latina starts Cooking Curiousities and chiles rellenos in her tia's kitchen.
Lourdes is a queer chicana who is passionate about working with youth.

Jasmine's Jubilee by Lynn T. Sugihara A bisexual transgender Asian woman celebrates Jasmine's Jubilee and life's triumphs.
Lynn is an Asian community Activist and Volunteer.

Silence As Resistance by Xahej Bajipura A Desi woman turns imposed silence into an intentional, healing practice of Silence As Resistance from her ancestry.
Xahej is a quirky educator and activist passionate about serving vulnerable youth of Global Majority and/or Queer and Trans identities.

My Favorite Plankton by Jasmine Liang In My Favorite Plankton, a genderqueer Chinese Taiwanese rollerskater finds themselves reflected in sparkly underwater universes.
Jasmine loves skating, mermaids and magic.

Bisexual Visibility Week, also known as #BiWeek, is an annual observance held from September 16-23. It culminates in Celebrate Bisexuality Day on September 23rd. This week is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting acceptance of the bisexual+ (bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, polysexual, fluid, etc.) community.

is a free monthly series at the SF LGBT Center offering that provides a communal space for LGBTQ+ folks to explore different forms of care rooted in connection to community.
