Join City of Roanoke Parks & Rec Staff and the Roanoke Diversity Center on a bike ride along the gorgeous New River Trail. This 57 mile long Rails to Trails project stretches from Galax to Pulaski. We will be biking a 15 mile section from Foster Falls to the Hiwassee River Bridge. This trail is rated mild to moderate.Parks and Rec will provide transportation for you and your bike to the trail.
After our ride we will head to the iconic Draper Mercantile. Lunch is on us. Draper is a small historic village along the New River with unique shops and an astounding restaurant with delicious food.
