Queensgate Shopping Centre’s Christmas Lights Switch-On: A Magical Start to the Festive Season

On Saturday Queensgate’s Christmas Lights Switch-On brought the Christmas spirit to life as hundreds of visitors came to enjoy the annual celebration. 

The event which kicked off the festive season in style transformed the centre into a wonderland with the enchanting theme of the Queensgate Express.

The fun doesn’t stop there as Queensgate’s team of elves have been busy putting together a whole calendar of entertainment leading up to the big day.

Upcoming Festive Events at Queensgate:

• 29 November - Polynesian Princess meet and greet: Join our Polynesian Princess between 4PM – 7PM for a magical experience during late-night shopping.
• 1 December - Polar Bear Walkabouts: Witness these captivating animatronic creatures roaming the centre
• 6 December - Sustainable Christmas Workshop: Get creative and eco-friendly with this fun-filled event Christmas workshop between 11AM–3PM.
• 7 December – The Festive Spoilsport will be making an appearance at Queensgate between 11AM-3PM.
• 8 December - Penguin Walkabouts: Enjoy the charm of waddling automotive penguins during the festive period.
• 15 December - Christmas Stocking visit: Keep an eye out for this delightful roaming characterbetween 11PM–3PM.
• 21 December - Paddington Bear Visit: Meet the beloved Paddington and create magical memories between 11AM–3PM.
• 22 December - Christmas Birds visit: Spot these enchanting festive characters bringing Christmas to life.
• 30 November 7 12 14 19 & 21 December - The Salvation Army Performances: Get in the festive spirt with uplifting carol performances that will fill the air with joy.
