Queens Village Mommy Meet Ups (July 2026)
About this Event
Mommy Meetups are a bi-weekly gathering created with one thing in mind: you.
As needs grow in our community, we’re choosing care and consistency—bringing pregnant and postpartum Black mamas together for connection, a nourishing meal, trusted childcare, and intentional space to breathe. No pressure. No preparation. Just community, support, and room to show up as you are.
Each month features one facilitator and one guiding theme. Sessions include open conversation followed by a gentle, facilitated activity aligned with the monthly theme.
July Facilitator & Theme
July Facilitator: Desire Bennett
- Theme: Rhythms of Rest & Gratitude. Join us as we ground ourselves with the soothing, meditative sounds of the panda drum, explore the peaceful practice of gratitude journaling, and step into pure zen.
