Queens Student Showcase and Awards Ceremony

You are warmly invited to attend our student Showcase event for the multi-university Interdisciplinary Engineering for Sustainability and Innovation course, running this term in partnership with the global social enterprise How to Change the World.

Across this term, our students have collaborated in small multi-university and interdisciplinary teams to identify and understand a complex sustainability (social and/or environmental) challenge faced by a real-world community. With the support of peers, the teaching team, and global mentors and experts they have devised, designed, and proposed an implementable idea for positively impacting that challenge.

The in-person element of the Showcase will provide our students with the opportunity to showcase their excellent work to a valuable audience at our university.

4:30 -5:30 pm EST: Showcase & Networking event

5:30 -6:00 pm EST: Keynote Speaker & Awards Ceremony

During this hybrid Showcase, students will have a table, with their laptop, where they will showcase the work their team has accomplished this term to the diverse range of invited guests. The Showcase will finish with an Awards Ceremony hosted by the How to Change the World team (connecting each of the 10 partnered faculties of engineering via Zoom), and with a distinguished national keynote speaker.
