In 2022 Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate seventy years of service, having acceded to the throne in 1952. To mark this momentous occasion, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra will perform a selection of works from throughout her reign that is as rich and varied as Her remarkable life and times. Classic FM's John Suchet will join us to present this special performance.
The repertoire for the evening includes music from the coronation, works dedicated to The Queen and HRH The Princess Margaret, music from across the Commonwealth, personal favourites of Her majesty (My Fair Lady) and even bagpipes, in former Master of the Queen's Music Sir Pieter Maxwell Davies’ An Orkney Wedding, with Sunrise.

There will be coaches to and from Cheltenham & Lichfield for the concert on 2 June.
