Established in 1996 as the first fully independent academic Department of Emergency Medicine at a Canadian medical school, our Department is proud to celebrate 30 years of excellence in patient care, leadership in education, groundbreaking research, and a legacy of graduates serving emergency departments across the country.

30th Anniversary Gala
We are delighted to invite you to the Queen’s Emergency Medicine 30th Anniversary Gala on the evening of Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingston, Ontario. This special black-tie event will bring together alumni and colleagues from across the years—including graduates of both our FRCPC and CCFP-EM programs—to celebrate past achievements and our ongoing impact on Canadian emergency medicine.

Academic Symposium
Preceding the gala, we are excited to host the First Annual Queen’s Emergency Medicine Academic Symposium on the afternoon of November 20. This educational program will feature a distinguished panel exploring Artificial Intelligence in Emergency Medicine.
