Come meet our 2027 nominees in person at our next Quarterly Community Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, October 27th, at 6:30 pm at Friendship Avenue Church (5450 Friendship Avenue). We will be presenting the slate of nominees for a single vote.
Also at this meeting, we'll be hearing from the Friendship School Reuse Committee about their work to help the community figure out what could be possible for the future of the Friendship School building. The Pittsburgh Public Schools' Montessori program will be leaving the Friendship School building and moving to the Linden school building in Point Breeze at the end of the 2026-27 school year. Councilwoman Gross, Councilman Mosley, and Community Affairs Supervisor Corey Buckner will be present for this discussion as well. This meeting is open for all residents of Friendship to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.
Hope to see you on October 27th!
