Come support our youth going to New Orleans this summer for the ELCA youth gathering and bid on some really cool vendor items!Bring your quarters, and let's have some fun!
How does a Quarter Auction Work?
• Rent your paddle.
• A corresponding numbered chip will be put into the drawing container.
• The vendor will bring up their auction item and give a brief description, and then request a specific number of quarters.
• If you are interested in bidding on the items, you must place the number of quarters in the bucket on the table.
• Once the buckets are all picked up, the vendor or host will pull a number for the item.
• If you purchase more than one paddle and want to bid for each paddle, you must put in the specified number of quarters for each paddle.
Example: Bob is auctioning his item for 2 quarters. Joan has 3 paddles. 1 paddle in play 2 quarters, 2 paddles in play 4 quarters, 3 paddles in play 6 quarters, 4 paddles in play 8 quarters, etc.
If you did not bid and we pull your number, you didn’t win the item. This is a fast-paced event.
