What is a Quarter Auction??
* Each guest receives 1 paddle with a ticket purchase and additional paddles are available at the door for $5.00.
* Each guest brings with them 2-3 rolls of quarters
* The emcee holds up the first item for auction and gives a brief description along with the “bid” amount. Each basket bid will be 1-4 quarters depending on the value of the basket.
* If you are interested in bidding, you place your quarters into the bowl on your table and hold up your paddle. If you have an additional paddle, you can place additional quarters in the bowl and hold up your 2nd paddle. If you are not interested in the item, do not place any quarters in the bowl and leave your paddle down on the table.
* The emcee will close the bidding and pull a number from basket. If the number called corresponds to a number that is raised, that person wins the item. If the number is not in play, then another number is drawn.
* Baskets will vary in value from $1-$100 dollars. Bids are based on the value of the basket as follows: $1-$25 = 1 Quarter $26-$50 = 2 Quarters $51-$75 = 3 Quarters $76-$100 = 4 Quarters
