A successful physicist and entrepreneur, Dr. Green has over 30 years of experience at the intersection of technology, innovation, and corporate leadership.
As the founder and managing partner of AMG Consulting Group, Dr. Green guided startups in business strategy and technology commercialization. He co-founded Mid-America Applied Technology Corporation, where he led efforts to secure federal contracts and advance dual-use technologies. Earlier in his career, Dr. Green led advanced materials and nanotechnology initiatives at Science Applications International Corporation, overseeing multimillion-dollar government contracts and pioneering cross-disciplinary research in emerging technologies.
As the CEO of Kent Displays, Dr. Green led the transformation of a university-developed liquid crystal technology into the ‘Boogie Board’ brand, revolutionizing the way people take notes. Dr. Green has advocated nationally for advanced manufacturing, serving on a variety of boards and councils, including on the U.S. Department of Commerce Manufacturing Council, which advises the U.S. Secretary of Commerce on government policies and programs that affect U.S. manufacturing and provides a forum for proposing solutions to industry-related problems. The Council also works to ensure that the United States remains the preeminent destination for investment in manufacturing throughout the world.
