Experience a full day built around the question that comes up in every conversation at every mocap stage: where is this industry actually going, and what tools does it need to get there?
Qualisys is hosting the Mocap Meetup in Los Angeles the week of SIGGRAPH 2026. We are opening the doors to animation professionals, Technical Directors, mocap supervisors, pipeline engineers, and anyone working with motion capture in film, games, VFX, or interactive media.
The day includes a live performance capture session, a first look at Skeletune (our new desktop application for setting up and tuning skeleton solvers), panel discussions, breakout sessions, partner presentations, and time to actually talk to people - not just collect business cards.

Where will the Mocap Mastery take place?
Our partners at DTLA have generously offered their expansive studio for our upcoming meetup. The space features a state-of-the-art stage fully equipped with the leading technology and assets for motion capture productions.
The Showroom is located just a few blocks from the Convention Center, at 1036 S. Grand Ave. Our main room features a 500 sf 1.9p LED display, as well as an excellent sound system and lots of other tech.

Full-day Masterclass: Monday July 20 @ 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM PST
Guests are welcome to hang around for a Networking Mixer and Demo Lounge, which includes drinks and light snacks, additional discussions and demos!
