Is well known for the albums World Power and The Madman's Return and their respective number-one hits, "The Power" and "Rhythm Is a Dancer" Best-known for the 1990 single "Wiggle It," for a brief time 2 in a Room was one of the most popular hybrids of hip-hop and dance music. The group was the brainchild of rapper / singer / songwriter / producer Rafael "Dose" Vargas; singles such as "Do What You Want" and the full-length debut Wiggle It earned Vargas widespread airplay and some critical acclaim. 2 in a Room released the singles "El Trago (The Drink)" and "Ahora (Now)," as well as the 1995 album World Party and the 1996 single "Carnival".
