QuAC 2025 Winter/Spring Courses!

The Queer Activist College (QuAC) offers social justice workshops, trainings, roundtables, and other opportunities for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults interested in advocacy and social change. We bring together current and future activists, organizers, and movement leaders to build skills and take action to make a difference.

Courses are FREE and open to all LGBTQ+ youth and young adults ages 25 and under, and they are located in-person at our community center downtown.

• June: Healthcare Advocacy

• Thursday, February 13th (5PM - 7PM). The Queer Neighborhood Council and BAGLY will host a roundtable discussion on housing policy, and then we'll talk about ways folks can get involved in supporting a trans youth shelter in Boston. Food will be provided.
• Thursday, February 20th (4PM - 7PM). The Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless and BAGLY will have a training on how to get involved in policy and advocacy, especially young people who are passionate about housing justice. Food will be provided.

QuAC events – referred to as “courses” – are grouped together by topic. Each month is dedicated to a specific topic. QuAC participants who attend every course in a topic (usually 2 to 3 courses) will earn a topic certificate. Participants who attend 6 or more courses within a calendar year earn a QuAC Advocate Certificate and a $200 stipend.

Register to save your spot in advance! Walk-ups day of are also welcome, but it's helpful for us to get your sign-up, so that we know how many folks will be in the room.
