QTP Kayak Meet UP

This meet up is for QTBIPOC (QUEER, TRANS, BLACK, INDIGENOUS, PEOPLE OF COLOR. Queering the Path is a safe affirming space for Queer Trans Folx of color to create community, enjoy the outdoors together and learn new skills as a group.

We will be meeting at a local Kayak Rental store Aqua adventures for this meet up. Kayak rentals are $24.00 for 2 hours. We will be hitting the Water at 10:30. We strongly recommend arriving at 10am at the store front so we can all rent, & get fitted for life vests before hitting the water at 10:30 as a group.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please email us at [email protected], if you would like a sponsorship to attend. We want to make sure everyone is able to join and have a good time.

All kayak levels are welcome, if this is your first time kayaking please let us know :) so we can best support you. What better way to try a new skill than in a Safe affirming, Queer/Trans BIPOC space!

Have your own kayak?! Bring it! We are able to dock our own kayaks from Aqua Adventures Kayak dock as well.

WHAT TO BRING- Clothing that is loose and can get wet. A swim suit is fine, sun protection recommended, a hat or sunglasses are also advised. Your ID or drivers license for Kayak Rental. A bag or water proof cellphone case, or money holder. WATER, light snacks, and SUNSCREEN to protect that beautiful body form UV rays!

PARKING- Is free and there is plenty of parking at the rental store.
