QStep PDX is Portland’s first queer-led ballroom dance community — equal parts athletic, social, and fabulous. Whether you’re brand new to ballroom or looking for a new challenge, our classes are designed to keep you moving, learning, and having fun.

October Module: Rumba
This month we’ll dive into Rumba, the Latin dance of connection, expression, and rhythm. Classes are beginner-friendly and progressive, taught in a modular style so you’ll build new skills each week. No partner or special shoes required — just bring socks or comfy shoes and an open mind.

Competitive Path
For dancers who want to push further, QStep also offers a competitive branch (QCrew), training for regional events and the 2026 Gay Games in Valencia, Spain. 🌈✨
