QRIB Hangouts

These hangouts are a collaboration between the Willow River Centre and Spectrum's BRIQ House hosts to foster safer spaces for queer individuals who identify as Racialized, Indigenous, and/or Black. Every second Friday of the month, the community gets together to do activities (ex. crafts, karaoke, outdoor fires, poetry, boardgames, etc). Events are free with light refreshments, though capped at 30 people, so we recommend RSVPing! This is a sacred space so allies are welcome upon invitation, and are encouraged to donate (ex. $5) to the Willow River Centre to support safer queer racialized spaces locally. Whether you're getting ready for a Friday night outing, a hot new profile pic, or just crave some stylish and artsy QRIB social time, we invite you to join us! Bring yourself, pre-party vibes, and any get ready items you may need. At the end of the session we will have an attendee draw for a free ticket to the Big Gay Disco happening at the Hub the same night. See you there!
