Learn how to recognize warning signs and effectively intervene to prevent suicide by becoming a certified QPR Gatekeeper!About this Event
The Gem State Public Health AmeriCorps program proudly presents QPR Gatekeeper Training to those in the Pocatello, Idaho area. QPR stands for a three-step process: Question, Persuade, and Refer. Similar to CPR, the technique of QPR can save a life. Through this training, you will learn how to identify warning signs of suicide and be equipped with evidence-based suicide prevention tools to address the needs of a person in crisis.
We will be holding our training in the South Fork Room at Idaho State University's Student Union Building from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.
