QPAD's September Community Engagement Meeting is dedicated to DATA CENTERS!
Join the Quindaro Peace & Arts District (QPAD) for our monthly Community Engagement meeting as we come together to learn, ask questions, and stay informed about potential development at the old Quindaro power plant.
What could data centers mean for our community?
How can we construct meaningful Community Benefits Agreements for those that may be coming in?
Ty Gorman from the Sierra Club will join us to help break down what data centers are, what they could mean for Quindaro, and what they don’t necessarily mean.
We’ll have a chance to:
- Learn the basics of data center development and potential impacts
- Talk through what is currently being proposed at the old Quindaro power plant
- Ask questions and raise community concerns
- Review educational materials and information
- Discuss what the community wants to know and what comes next
