Qoya is an embodied presence and movement practice based on the idea that through movement, you remember your essence is wise, wild, and free.
Wise, wild, and free also draw reference to the healing movement practiced in a Qoya class:
Wise: Calling on the ancient and transformative wisdom of yoga, meditation, ritual, and contemplation.
Wild: Invoking the creative and authentic expression of dance.
Free: Drawing from empowered choice in movement and the freedom to feel pleasure in the body by moving in a way that feels nourishing and true.
There is no way you can do it wrong. If it feels true, you are doing it right. Qoya is a physical movement practice that liberating you to be more present in your body by tuning into sensation and resonance.
You can expect movement, stretching, connection, respectful space, dancing and fun!
→ We will dance with the theme: TENDING WHAT’S TENDER and explore what it feels like when you take time to tend what's tender in your garden, in your body in your life…
