Xiaoqing Zhang Founder of Qing Studio, Broadway China and ResoNoVA, Xiaoqing Zhang is an internationally acclaimed actress, singer,producer, coach and cultural ambassador. She serves as an advisor to the Artists for Mental Health Foundation and was recognized by the city council as a Sino-American Musical Ambassador. An accomplished performer, Xiaoqing holds an MFA from SCAD and a BA in Acting from the Central Academy of Drama. She has starred in numerous productions, including Off-Broadway musicals (For What It’s Worth, Eastbound), Tony Award-winning projects (Rapunzel), and the Mandarin premieres of Avenue Q, Mama Loves Me Again, and Spiral. Her television and voice-over work includes the TBS comedy The Detour and national Chinese TV shows. Xiaoqing has organized international musical theatre festivals, judged competitions such as the Columbia University Voice Competition, and collaborated with leading directors and choreographers from Broadway, West End, and China. Her awards include 1st place in China Star, 2nd place in the World Karaoke Championship (China), and the BTV Creative Award.
