I would like to invite you to join us for a Qigong, Meditation and the Magic of the Breath Workshop in the lovely Beach Studio at the Natural Fitness Centre on Eastbourne Seafront by the Redoubt Fortress on Saturday, 2nd August 2025

Our Summer Qigong Workshop combines an eclectic mix of movement, meditation, breathwork, shared bodywork and sound to bring you to a place of quiet stillness and awareness, to enable ease and softness in the body, rest and relaxation in the mind and profound reconnection with spirit.
Our theme for this wonderful afternoon is based around the Fire Element of Chinese medicine.
Summer is the season of the Fire Element connected to the Heart and is our source of love, joy and passion. Fire symbolizes transformation, warmth, and vitality, the most Yang time of year, bringing forth vibrant energy, brightness, and movement.
This creates a wonderful opportunity to harness the treasures of Love and Joy and experience a deep connection to ourselves, to our loved ones and to embrace life in all its beauty and abundance..
The practice of Qigong is a beautiful journey in returning home to the heart and feeling a deep sense of wholeness and integration. When our hearts are balanced we feel vibrant and alive. We feel elevated and nourished.
In TCM philosophy, the Fire element is linked to various aspects of human life, including passion, joy, compassion, and the ability to connect with others. Fire is also seen as a symbol of divinity, transformation and purification.
In this spirit we shall be creating a safe and nourishing space to deeply rest, restore our energy and nourish the heart, a space for reflection, quiet and deep joy, gentle release creating a sense of renewal with a mixture of Qigong, Sound, Meditation, Movement and Breathwork.
By turning our attention inwards in this workshop we connect with the different parts of our bodies and learn to establish a dialogue with our own body. This dialogue is both a new and ancient way to approach and experience ourselves. By becoming more aware of ourselves and our own energy we explore our connection with the powerful universal energies. When we begin to integrate all parts of ourselves and the universe, we promote our body’s innate ability to heal, maintain and regain optimal health.
Hot and cold drinks available through the afternoon with a short break for delicious snacks...All dietary needs catered for.
No experience is necessary!
