Qigong & Self Myofascial Release WorkshopIf you attended the Qigong & Breathwork workshop the evening before, this experience is designed to build on that foundation — moving from understanding nervous system regulation into hands-on methods you can use to directly influence tissue health, mobility, and stress storage patterns in the body.
That said, this workshop is also fully standalone. You will learn techniques that can be practiced independently and integrated easily into daily self-care routines.
While stress affects the nervous system globally, it is often stored locally in the body through fascial restriction, muscular guarding, and tension patterns shaped by posture, movement habits, and life experiences. When we improve tissue quality and reduce fascial restriction, we help lower overall stress load on the nervous system.
Join for an experiential workshop focused on practical self-myofascial release methods combined with supportive Qigong movements to help restore balance within the body’s fascial, nervous, and bioelectrical systems.
Drawing from neuromuscular therapy principles and energy cultivation practices, this workshop emphasizes tools you can use on your own to maintain tissue health, improve alignment, and support long-term nervous system regulation.
During this workshop, we’ll explore:
• How the fascial system influences nervous system health and whole-body communication
• Where stress and tension are commonly stored in the body — and how to release them
• Self-myofascial release techniques to support alignment, mobility, and ease
• Qigong movements that help integrate and stabilize changes within the nervous system
• How consistent self-care practices can reduce overall stress load over time
You’ll leave with simple, effective techniques you can use independently to help your body release tension, improve movement quality, and support lasting nervous system balance.

Gwyn is the founder of Mind and Body Fitness Connections, co-founder of Ecstatic Dance OKC, and she serves on the board of Radiant Healing Arts Center. A wellness coach and Qigong teacher, Gwyn helps clients and students navigate both physical and emotional pain, including mental health challenges, PTSD, and addiction recovery. With training in biopsychology, corrective exercise, bodywork, mindfulness, and food healing, Gwyn blends movement, manual therapy, nutrition, creativity, and spirituality to support holistic healing, balance, and alignment with one’s higher purpose.
