The league currently has 2 travel teams: The Lake Effect Furies (A team) and The SubZero Sirens (B team). Both teams are chartered in the WFTDA competing in the North America East Region.
The travel teams will be coached by some amazing coaches! Congratulations to Sin, Ryan, D-Ray, Heiny, Nicky Needles and Leo!
Tryouts will occur on Monday, December 2 and Wednesday, December 4 at Buffalo Riverworks in Buffalo, NY (https://g.co/kgs/4mo2hcq) from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm. You are welcome to arrive early to do an off skates warm-up. The floor is polished concrete and can range from slippery when it's cold to sticky when it's hot and humid. Sometimes the venue holds concerts so be prepared to skate over questionable floor grease.
Please bring a black and white shirt with your number on the back as well as armbands. There are several drinking fountains at the venue. There is plenty of space if you wish to do an off skates warm-up. Otherwise, be on skates and ready to go at 7:30 PM.
You are not required but are encouraged to attend both tryouts. If you are unable to attend tryouts, please complete the application form and email [email protected].
