QCPC is a PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) initiative of various individuals with inclination in basic photography and content creations. Established on February 12, 2016 at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC) and Quezon Memorial Circle Park, Quezon City, Philippines will be celebrating its 10th Year Anniversary this February 12, 2026.
Started as hobbyist photographers, its original members are now establishing their own careers in the fields of creative, entertainment and technical sectors.
QCPC History and Legacy
Mission: To unite photographers both amateurs and professionals in promoting Quezon City as a photo friendly community.
Vision: Quezon City to become the Photography Capital of the Philippines
Meaning of QCPC logo:
Ancient black and white color symbolizes the foundation of photography. The primary definition of photography is โdrawing with lightโ. To instill the memory of one of its founders, the iconic Quezon memorial pylon represents its emblem.
The camera is a tool for capturing moments and the three-dimensional (3D) character effect is about EXIF, exposure, lighting and angles. QCPC seeks to promote and develop the art and science of photography and the rich culture, heritage, faces and places of QC through photography.

QCPC is not a Photography School and does not issue Official Certificates. Only TESDA and Accredited Photography or multimedia institutions can do so.
We are open to non-QC residents provided that the venue/location of the shots is in QC. QC residents may post pictures outside QC.
Be courteous at all times.
Posting of pornographic/vulgar materials/pictures are strictly prohibited. Post once, you'll be blocked. No warnings, if and/or buts.
Non-related advertisements will be deleted.

Quezon City Photo Club (QCPC) is a fusion of various genre in multimedia, arts and photography. The QCPC Facebook group was created on February 12, 2016. We are open to beginners, volunteers, students, novices, amateurs, hobbyists and enthusiast photographers, filmmakers and multimedia artists.
In addition, we are inviting models, make-up artists, couturiers, Filipino designers, archivists, animators, and bloggers to create a community of artists and multimedia artists. We are open for any suggestions provided that it adheres to the rules and regulations of social networking sites.
QUEZON CITY: THE FASHION AND PHOTOGRAPHY CAPITAL OF METRO MANILA
Quezon City is now emerging as the FASHION CAPITAL of Metro Manila, this year 2024 alone, after the Covid-19 pandemic, it is now the home of Philippinesโ major fashion shows.
Newbie, upcoming, amateur and young fashion models travelled from as far as Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon province, Ilocos Region and Cordillera provinces to join fashion shows and open photo-shoots at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC) and Quezon Memorial Circle Park.
Various photography clubs and photography groups are conducting their photography workshops and open photo shoots in different locations and parts of Quezon City.
Quezon City is the most populous city in the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 2,960,048 people. It was founded on October 12, 1939, and was named after Manuel L. Quezon, the second president of the Philippines.
Quezon City is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the Philippines" and the "City of Stars", since it is where major studios located and most Filipino actors and actresses reside. To support the film industry, the city established the Quezon City Film Development Commission (QCFDC). The city also holds its own film festival, the QCinema International Film Festival, every October or November and showcases local and international films, documentaries, and short films, and gives grants to their creators.
Quezon City is home to the Philippines' major broadcasting networks. There are 11 local television networks, 6 cable TV, 7 AM radio stations, and 4 FM radio stations in the city. Major commercial broadcast network in the Philippines such as ABS-CBN and GMA Network have their headquarters in the city. From 1992 to 2013, TV5 had its headquarters in the city. It moved to Mandaluyong in 2013 although TV5's former Novaliches headquarters still serves as its alternate studios. Its transmitter in Novaliches is still being used and operated by the network. State-owned media and television network such as RPN, IBC and PTV also have their headquarters in the city.
Minor/religious broadcasting companies in the city include CEBSI (formerly CBS), DZCE-TV and EBC (Net 25), which are all affiliated with Iglesia ni Cristo. UNTV is another minor/religious broadcasting network affiliated with Members Church of God International. Major broadcasting facilities in the city include the Net 25 Tower, the tallest communications tower in the Philippines, RPN's South Tower, GMA's Tower of Power, IBC's Central Tower, TV5's Satellite Tower, ABS-CBN's Millennium Transmitter, the ABS-CBN's ELJ Communications Center, GMA Network Center, and the UNTV Broadcast Center.
Formerly, the Broadcast City in Matandang Balara was once home to Banahaw Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Radio Philippines Network (RPN) and Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation (IBC).

QCPC CODE OF ETHICS:
1. No cyber bullying. Respect co-photographers, models, HMUA, and co-members.
2. In critiquing works, be sure to use international standards in photography, use constructive criticisms, avoid personal attacks.
3. Models below 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A third party must be present in shooting minors. Third party includes either a parent, guardian, friend that is 18 above, HMUA, chaperone, etc.
4. Models and photographers must secure a signed Model Release Form in shooting boudoir and implied art forms.
5. Observe variations in photography genre; Street Photography, Runway Photography, Landscape, Portraits, Wedding, Photojournalism, Boudoir, etc. Observe international rules and regulations in photography.
6. Continuously develop "Code of Ethics" / Ethical standard in Photography. Photographers are not barbaric, they are well educated artists.
7. Respect women and children. The Philippine laws on the protection on Women and Children are presently enforced.
8. Talent fee must be based on written and/or verbal contracts and obligations.
