QBI Science Art Club Social: Aquatic Organisms
About this Event
Join the QBI Science Art Club for our inaugural Art Social, inspired by the fascinating world of aquatic organisms.
This gathering brings together scientists, artists, and curious creatives of all experience levels to explore the connections between science and art in a relaxed, hands-on setting. Participants will create original artwork inspired by aquatic life and ecosystems. No artistic or scientific experience is required. Just register and bring your curiosity and creativity!
QBI will provide light beverages and snacks at the event. Acrylic paints and canvas boards will also be provided for participants to use during the event. Artists are encouraged to bring their own preferred materials and supplies if they would like for their own use or to share.
Artwork created during the Art Social will be exhibited at the on October 6. Participating artwork will be displayed alongside title cards that include the piece title, artist name, and any provided socials.
Following the symposium, QBI will make artwork available for pickup or return to its original creator.
