This week we’re joined by former British and International Karate champion, Lloyd Russell.
Lloyd took up the sport as a young boy living in Bristol and together with his friends, they won national, international and world titles in various forms of martial arts. Lloyd also ran a martial arts club in Bristol who produced further world champions. Lloyd now holds a number of positions in the community, as a mentor to young people, one of whom was Bristol Bears and England rugby player, Ellis Genge and as an ambassador for Empire Fighting Chance. Lloyd has also worked with local schools, Dr Barnardo’s and with Jasper Thompson supporting the homeless.
