If you’re considering submitting for the 2027 Courtyard Plinth Commission, hear some ‘dos and don’ts’ over a drink with our team.
About this Event

You’ll hear about the commission brief from Objectspace Director Kim Paton and Deputy Director Zoe Black and get insights from practitioners who submitted and delivered successful projects before we open the floor for questions.

The Courtyard Plinth is a unique site – partially sheltered yet open to the elements, and visible from both the street and carpark. This session will help you better understand the site’s specific considerations and what to keep in mind when developing your proposal.

Supported by the Jan Warburton Charitable Trust, Objectspace's annual Courtyard Plinth Commission is open to craft, design, and architecture practitioners. Proposals are due by 5pm, Monday 10 August 2026, with the selected installation on display from March 2027 – March 2028. Read more here.

This event will be streamed via Zoom for those not able to join in person. Register as usual, and we’ll send details via email the day before.

The Courtyard Plinth Commission at Objectspace is generously supported by the Jan Warburton Charitable Trust.
